KRZYSZTOF GLOBISZ
I have been pursuing a dream of making movies for fifteen years.
Early interest in analogue photography led me to study in
the Polish National Film School in Lodz where I
was taught cinematography by world-renowned DP's like
Ryszard Lenczewski, Andrzej Zielinski, Slawomir Idziak,
Andrzej Bartkowiak and Witold Sobocinski.
Camerimage Festival played a major role in my education
providing me with an opportunity to present short films
and meet many of the greatest living filmmakers in person.
During the university years I attended workshops
by Michael Hanneke, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Doyle,
David Lynch, Haskell Wexler, Ed Lachman, Vittorio Storaro
and many others. Since graduating I worked on TV and feature
film sets in Poland while continuing to work as a freelancer on
short films and music videos.
Currently I live and work in Scotland.
